Lamorinda Water Polo Club 10U Boys Head Coach

WATER POLO CAREER:

Ali started playing (under Coach Bill Brown) with the Miramonte boys team when there was no women’s program. She is a founding member of Miramonte women’s water polo program and won back to back NCS championships in the inaugural years of the women’s program. Ali was named first team all-CIF and all-league honors. She went on to play at Stanford where the team finished in the top 3 all 4 years including 2nd place (after and undefeated season) in the inaugural women’s NCAA tournament. Post-college, Ali played with a club team in Switzerland and for the Olympic Club for 5 years.

COACHING CAREER:

Ali assisted with coaching Miramonte women’s team for one season and coached MIT women’s club team from 2003-2006. This is her 3rd year coaching at LAMO!
